I enjoyed your story. I knew Amy when she was in High School. She and my sister were best friends, they were roommates in college and she was at my wedding. I heard about Kathy's story when I lived in North Carolina. It was on Inside Edition. I couldn't believe he did that. After hearing that they suspected him of killing Amy, I searched the news papers and found the information I needed to tell my family about it. They were all surprised also. I am so glad to hear that people are still remembering both ladies. There lives were taken much to early.

I love your home too! I remember so well the Noxema and every corner of that house. I remember spending the night there so many times and running the bath water FOREVER. Your Dad would stress out that I was using way too much water!!! We have so many memories together at your house - sunbathing on the roof, walking down 5th Avenue to the college and back countless times. It was so much more fun than anything going on in Boyle!

I remember the night before your wedding; I cried and cried because I knew that we were passing from one stage in our lives to another and I was not ready for you to go. We had been best friends for so long.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom and for the pain that you are going through. I do hope that your sweet, precious grandchildren can help you in this healing process. God sure sent them at a perfect time.

This was great, Kathy. I always keep an emergency kit in my trunk, including battery cables, but my first plan of action is always to call for help! AARP and AAA have good services for when you're on the road. Once, at 10 pm at night in Dallas, they sent someone to fix my flat tire. Nothing weak about asking for help!
